𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: Often called “The Queen of Film Noir,” Barbara Stanwyck received her fourth Oscar nomination for her portrayal of a bedridden woman who picks up the telephone and overhears a sinister plot for murder over the party line. Frantic, she attempts to enlist the help of the authorities and her unheeding husband, played by Burt Lancaster. Taking place in real time and shot in sequence, SORRY, WRONG NUMBER is a tense and engrossing thriller that will have you glued to your seat.
